One thing I realize I left out of the previous post that needs to be addressed (Elephant in room) is the very troubling cognitive dissonance between the Cosmic Consciousness Experience and Life-In-This-World- as we know it.

In my previous post about Valentines Day in the Afterlife, I alluded to mystical experiences that I’ve had, including what I call Close Encounters of the Highest Kind.
For me, Valentine’s Day has come to be a unique day in my life that has nothing to do with romance or anything like that (Given its bloody historical roots, that’s probably a good thing).
It’s a day that I commemorate with my late friend’s wife. It’s a day that I became a conduit for afterlife communication.
I live in SoCal. During the recent wildfires that torched large parts of Los Angeles, I was in an evacuation-warning zone prepared to run for my life if the order came down. Thankfully, this time it didn’t. It has before. This was the third time since 2008 that my family has had such an experience.
I feel like Han Solo in Star Wars as the Death Star’s tractor beam pulls the Millennium Falcon into the clutches of the Intergalactic Deep State- I’ve got a bad feeling about this.

So- why Harris and Trump as grey aliens in a mock-up of the famous 1930 painting of an Iowan farmhouse scene called American Gothic? Well, as George Lucas says, sometimes an artist does things out of whimsy.
Given the gravity of this election, whimsy seemed an appropriate counterpoint here. And it’s Halloween.
I have to be honest- I’m really not a fan of social media. I think it should be more aptly called anti-social media. I wrote a recent post about why I just can’t squander all my time trying to promote myself or my books that way.
Last month, I wrote about Col. Karl Nell’s talk at the SALT conference in May about the stone-cold reality of non-human intelligence (NHI). (the clinical terminology for: We’re Not Alone in the Universe) According to Nell, there’s no ifs ands or buts. It is what it is and that’s what it is.
