Next week, Dr. Steven Greer heads back to Washington D.C. to hold Disclosure Project 2.0 at the National Press Club on June 12th. It will be fascinating to see how the mainstream media covers the event.
Back in 2001, when Greer first led the original Disclosure Project to the sacred podium, the mainstream media essentially ignored the story. CNN Headline News reported on it once in the afternoon before pulling it from their hourly news cycle. I have the clip on my phone.
Of course, most people never saw the segment or heard the news. People are shocked whenever I whip out the phone and play the segment for them. The reaction is usually something like: “I never heard that!” Yeah, no kidding, that’s the point.
I don’t think the mainstream hacks can dodge the story this time around. I think Big Media probably has no choice but to cover it in some capacity since the government admitted UFOs were real back in December 2017: Glowing Auras and ‘Black Money’: The Pentagon’s Mysterious U.F.O. Program
And I think it’s really unlikely the event will be censored by the intelligence community like it was in 2001.
I was one of many people who attempted to watch the Disclosure Project press conference live over the internet – which was a rare event for the times – but was unable, for the first hour, due to some sort of technical glitch. Greer later published a report about an investigation that found the glitch to be the result of some sort of external interference originating in Langley, Virginia, headquarters to the CIA.
I don’t think that will happen this time around. Jamming the signal just won’t be plausible in the age of streaming video. Also, it would just reinforce the argument that the government doesn’t want to admit that UFOs are extraterrestrial. So what will happen?
That’s a great question and I don’t know the answer, but it doesn’t take too much imagination to realize what the possibilities are. Basically you can boil it down to an inflection point in which human affairs cannot continue as they have- to paraphrase John von Neumann speaking about the Singularity…
