RIP Big Bang Theory

I was excited when I saw the news that the James Webb Space Telescope had tossed another monkey wrench into the machinery of mainstream astronomy. I am not an astrophysicist, but when I saw the LiveScience report that the JWST just proved to Nobel Prize-winning physicist Adam Riess, “the real and exciting possibility that we have misunderstood the Universe,” I had a good idea what he was referring to- even if he couldn’t say the quiet part out loud.

Personal Disclosure

I’m often asked (well, not too often, but it has happened), “Why don’t you have more reviews on Amazon?” “Why aren’t you more well-known?” In general, the premise is that, given my limited, but somewhat substantial critical acclaim, why isn’t The Day After the Singularity: UFOs & the Great Technological Quantum Leap more well-known?

The report claimed that balloons, flying trash and various forms of airborne clutter account for a good chunk of recent sightings. Yeah, so what. What about the other stuff? You know, the Tic Tac UFO type stuff? Nothing on that.
